Oh this girl. She is something else and we just can't get enough.
She has started signing like CRAZY! She probably picked up at least 40 new signs this month. It has really clicked and she uses it a lot. I'm amazed daily at her understanding of things and how she can put the signs with them.
Although she does get a little confused---I asked her if she was thru coughing the other day and she signed dolphin. I guess I don't speak very clearly.
And then any time you say window she signs wind.
My favorite though is one day I told her we were going to see Josh's grandparents, Nana and Poppa, and I look down and she is signing banana. She still signs it anytime she sees her or hears her name.
But she can pretty much communicate and tell us anything she wants/needs and I love it.
She took her dad in her room the other day and came out with this on her head….looking all proud of herself, but oh so serious.

At 17 months:
-she loves being outside and does not understand the weather going from 80 degrees to 40 degrees :/
-got a few more teeth--Up to 9!
-still LOVES books
-wearing size 4 diapers
-wearing a lot of 18 months but some are a little big
-sleeping about 12 hours a night
-one nap
-loves stuffed animals and dolls
-is beyond obsessed with Signing Time videos
-she knows most of her animals
-she is really sweet with her baby dolls--she will feed them, put them to bed, love on them…makes me pretty excited for July!
-she likes to do "fast feet"
-she uses her eyes a lot to get her point across---they are the most expressive eyes ever
-has become GREAT with her fork and even spoon
-she has the most hilarious point…its like the Spiderman sign minus the pinky
-she can recognize and point to almost everyone in the family
-knows some body parts-eyes, ears, nose, tongue, teeth, belly
-can howl like a wolf
-tries to make fish lips

cold, cracker, banana, giraffe, alligator, red, book, boat, monkey, coat, gloves, shoes, owl, panda, deer, turtle, lion, tiger, cat, fish, penguin, fork, juice, milk, grapes, carrot, bird, ball, tree, crab, crocodile, dolphin, zebra, gorilla, kangaroo, sleepy, wind
